I bought a car at an auto auction 2 days ago and it blew up before I even got home! It was running great when I left the auction. A mechanic told me that someone put something in the oil to make the engine stop smoking and knocking just long enough to sell it. Is it illegal to do that? Is there anything I can do? The seller is a local dealer.The state is Alabama
