What is the name of your state? California

Hi, I live in Lathrop, California and I have a small business called Pacific Media Services. I am originally from Fiji, and I also have a website called Club Kaindia, which is a community based website for the people of Fiji.

It is a free website, where I have many features which are all free to the members. Currently I have over 400 members.

Now, my question is, that I would like to offer scholarships to college students. Currently due to limited funds, I can only offer $250. Is it possible to setup a trust fund under my company name Pacific Media Services so people can donate money to future scholarships?

Do i have to setup my business as a non profit in order to do this? I currently charge advertisers a fee to post their banners on my site. Also, Pacific Media Services is a web design, hosting and consulting type of business...

If you need any other questions answered, please ask and I will respond promptly. Thanks for your help!
