Small claims lawsuit

My husband is being sued by his ex-girlfriend for appx $4,000. The only money she ever gave him was for his insurance DED and rent, when they were living together. What are my options?

Gee... lets see.... You can pay it or fight it.

But it first sounds like you need to find out what claims she is making that he owes her the money and when the 'debt' occurred. Then, once you find out those things, you can decide which 'option' to take.

I realize that was a pretty vauge question after I posted it. I wonder if anyone knows how to file a Motion to Produce or should I go to an attorney for that?
