HI I LIVE IN KENTUCKY AND THE OTHER DAY MY MIN.DACHSUNDS WERE ATTACKED AND HAD TO BE TAKEN TO THE VET ONE FOR 5O STAPLES AND THE OTHER ONE FOR 10.MY SON HAD STATED THAT THERE WAS A BLACK LAB WITH A ORANGE COLLAR GROWLING ON THE PORCH SO I WENT TO LOOK FOR MY DOGS AND FOUND THEM HURT.I KNOW WHOS DOG IT WAS AND QUESTIONED THEM ABOUT IT AND THEY SAID HE WAS CHAINED UP AT THIS TIME BUT WE KNOW HE IS THE ONLY DOG AROUND HERE LIKE THAT.SO I'M WONDERING DO I HAVE A CASE EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T ACUTALLY SEE THE ATTACK?BUT ANOTHER THING THE NEXT DAY THIS DOG WAS BACK DOWN HERE WITH HIS CHAIN BROKE AND I HAD TO CALL THEM TO COME GET HIM.

Lucymae,

First of all turn off your CAPS Lock key please. It makes it very difficult to read your posts. If you can't use shift, then type in all lower case.

If you have no witnesses and you just suspect that it was this dog who attacked your dogs with no evidence you have no case and you shouldn't waste your time.

I suggest the next time your neighbor's dog breaks its chain, you call animal control and let them take the dog. That might scare them enough to exercise more caution in tying up their animal.
