My boyfriend keeps getting pulled over by the local police in our familiestown for things he didn't do. He got pulled over the other night cause it was said his truck, which was down for about 3 months prior to this night, was seen driving past a girls house in a neighboring town. No matter what vehicle he's in, be it his dads or his own, he gets pulled over for some bogus thing after another. He's been pulled over for no seat belt, which in a farm vehicle in the state of Oklahoma, it is said you don't need one, and then followed many times. We went to the neighboring town in his dads truck looking for a friend that lives there and on the way home, to our house, we were followed by a police car to our families home town, then by the police officer there till we got out of town. There was no reason for them to do this nor is there any reason for them to constantly stop him but they always make up a reason. Can they do this? I mean, stop you for no reason, try to get you to confess for being somewhere your not? There is a long story behind this, which you might find very confusing, so I am just leaving it at the basics.

Thanks

That's the way things are done all over the country.

If this is racial profiling, or something akin to it, you may have a complaint, but unless you get a lawyer to write a letter protesting and that causes the police to back off, I don't know what to tell you.

They'll eventually get tired of going after him as though he was public enemy number 1 (unless he really is regarded as such) when he treats them with respect and they repeatedly find nothing and another "wise assed troublemaker" comes along.

In the meantime tell him to keep himself like Snow White.

small town police....

This is a prime example of how we live in a "police state",
and how pathetic it is that police can do essentially
anything that they want and we have to act "like Snow
White" to not be harassed.

It should not have to be like this...
