What is the name of your state? Kentucky

Recently the small town video store where I work was purchased and the new owners are horrible. I only work there part time while my husband is away at work, and while I am going back to school to complete another degree. The new owners do not even sign the paper work to own the store until Jan the 3rd of 2006. Recently they had their son who works with my husband call him to say they were sueing us for Slander because I had made a comment to a customer that they should no longer give their business to this place because it was becomming a "slum" I never said any of this and I am angry that these people continue to harass me because I refuse to train them and all the employees are quiting because of the way they have treated us...Can someone actually sue me for this ridiculous statement...this is not in anyway true...Help? What can I do?
