so did the new bankruptcy law really get resolved

What is the name of your state? az so is it true that the new bankruptcy law was resolved and that it will be ready to get signed off by president bush, plese say it aint so how long after he signs off on it does it start applying, iam hearing anywhere between 180 days to 6 months , iam in such debt but dont have cash to hire a lowyer yet, has anyone did it without a lawyer
i have 40,000 $$debt plus i want to keep my car
so i dont know if i could handle it all without going crazy and advice? thanks so much

First of all 180 days and six months are the same thing!!!!!!!
and NO the bill has not been signed into law and probably won't for some time.
