What is the name of your state?
CA

I'm not sure where this goes since it falls under quite a few different categories.
I worked in retail until very recently. There are alot of issues but I will try to make it short.

1. I approached my manager and let her know I am moving out of the state and because I've been there 5 months might as well transfer. She told me the best thing to do would be to turn in a two weeks notice and then apply for the job at the new location and I wouldnt lose my 5 months. I turned in the initial notive 3 1/2 weeks before the date. 2 days later I realized I would have to change the date by 5 days and made a new notice. My general manager was not there at the time so I handed it to an Assistant Manager and he told me to place it on her desk. She admitted to recieving it because she made a complaint about me changing my plans. Keep in mind its still 3 weeks notice. On my last day that I was scheduled, May 20th, I noticed that on next weeks schedule my name was there. I spoke with another Assistant Manager and was told "Oh well Jake's (name changed) last day is today and hes on here too so its probably just an error dont worry about it". Fast forward to today I call in asking why I dont have my pay check yet (it shouldve been there that evening). I spoke with my general manager and she said she came into work today and my 2 weeks notice (the original) was laying on her desk and that I had abandoned my job. She denies any knowledge of recieving a new notice or me even mentioning it. So now I have been terminated and am not rehireable. I asked about my check and she said whenever she gets around to it.

2. I was denied lunches unless I worked a minimum of 6 1/2 hours and usually never got more than one 10 minute break. Time clocks are edited to make it seem as if we did take breaks.

3. I was constantly harassed about my uniform were wrong and had to go buy new ones just so they could find more problems. (I do NOT dress baggy or sloppy) We are required to wear Navy Blue Polo Shirts, Straight khakis with a maximum of 4 total pockets, plain black belt, black shoes, and black socks. From looking at some labor laws this is a uniform and should be provided to us. Even when you look at publications with photos of employees from our company they are wearing a uniform that states the company name and was obviously provided. I believe I should be reimbursed for this money.

4. I recently turned 18 and was hired when I was 17. When I was hired I was told dont bother with getting a work permit so I didn't. Yet against the law I was kept until as late as 12:15 am.

5. Also I highly doubt this would ever make a difference but I had the top sales numbers in my store yet I was paid less than the people whos numbers were FAR away. I was promised a raise when I got my 90 day review (never got it). A new hire was hired at $2.50/hr more than me yet he was less qualified, terminated from his last 4 jobs, and when he didn't do any work the managers demanded I do it. He worked there for 2 weeks before he asked for a raise and recieved it. He was eventually fired due to internal theft. Every minority at my store works more than others yet we are still paid less. I am not trying to bring race into this (my girlfriend is white) but this is obviously a problem. Other employees of all races have noticed the same pattern of a certain race making more money and doing MUCH LESS work.

6. I was told I would recieve 10% commision for selling our companies replacement and service plans. When i approached someone about why I have never recieved 10% then they logged in the system under their managers login and showed me a printout of the REAL numbers which is close to 3-5% on it. We even have a poster in the back stating that we receieve 10%.

I know this is alot to read but there has to be SOMETHING I can do. Does anyone have any suggestions.
