A son of mine just qualified for SS Disabiltiy at age 42. He has to wait 2 years to be eligible for medicare. He is unable to purchase insurance because of previous medical conditions, which is why he qualified for SS, and also, because it is too expensive. Does he qualify for Medi-cal or any other govenment sponsored program until he qualifies for Medicare? Thanks
