If you received a Work Comp Lump Sum medical settlement a year prior to applying for SSDI will the SSA consider that and give you an overpayment. Also why would my SSA-1099 state that I had received several thousand dollars more in a work comp offset that for 3 years has added up to more than the original overpayment amount. I have asked the SSA this and they will not provide me with any answers.

Could you try restating that? I have read it over several times and I am not understanding what you are writing. How about just telling us what happened rather than putting it in question format.
