Hi, I've been seperated from my husband for a year. He receives Social Security Disability. He receives a check for himself in the amount of 1172.00 a month and two checks for our daughters, ages 16 and 13, at $192.00 each a month. We have an eighteeen year old son also, but I was told I couldn't get child support for him, even though he is a full time student in college. My question is, Shouldn't the children checks come directly to them? He has them direct deposited into his account. How do I get those checks sent to them? Please advise me on my rights, and how I should handle this situation? Thank You, Cookie

You need to contact the SS Administration and make them aware that the children no longer reside with your soon to be ex and see if they will allow you to receive the checks.
