What is the name of your state? CA. Can a social services report be included as an exhibit? My attorney claims that it is a criminal offense to submit it to the court. The report has information I would like the judge to consider such as my son's statements of seeing drugs at father's house and the findings of the SS worker was general neglect by father. I checked with SS and they said we can do whatever we want with our report copy and they have never heard that it can't be admitted in court. My attorney said we would have to go to a juvenile court judge to get permission for the release in court, is my attorney right?

I don't know what your attorney is thinking, people use social services reports everyday in court, he seems to be confusing this with sealed juvenile records.
