In 1993 an investor purchased the assets of my corporation from a bankruptcy court in Texas. The assets included software source code for OLD PRODUCT that I wrote and copyrighted. The OLD PRODUCT ran on the DOS operating system.

Recently I have rewritten the product (with substantial architectural improvements) in Visual Basic 6 for the Windows operating system. Does the investor have any legitimate claim on the NEW PRODUCT?

Looking forward to your reply.
