What is the name of your state? ga
I have posted twice concerning a pending judgement from a ca. On the original contract from providian credit card it states" Applicable law;severability; No matter where you live this agreement and your account are governed by federal law and New Hamnpshire law. My question is, does this credit card account fall under the ga sol laws are the NH sol law. I also thank you for the advice which has been given.

They must sue you where you are located. That is the SOL the judge understands.

If you are sued and you raise SOL as an affirmative defense, then the creditor might respond that the SOL of some other state applies. At that point, it would be up to the judge.
