I recently sold a piece of real estate but only received half of the payment which was in the contract and the date for buyer to pay the remaining amount. This amount was due in December 99 and the buyer asked for 45 day extension on payment with interest being paid on the remaining amount. I granted him the extention after talking to the title company said he was approved on his loan but is waiting on cities approval of conditional use permit. The 45 days went by now another 30 days has passed with no payment for interest or toward payment. The postponement of this matter have put me behind in some of my obligations. Is there legel fees that I can charge from him being late?

Did you give him the deed? Do you have a mortgage or lien on which you can foreclose?
