What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

ok, I sold a used Ipad on craiglist the other day for $330.00 this also included a case. it had some damage on the bottom of the screen, and the home button was a little hard to push in, the buyer and i met at a public location, he looked at the ipad turned it on got on the web and meeses around with it, he then bought it.

the next day he e-maild me and said I want my money back, because he can't dim the screen. I said sorry i am not giving your money back. he said fine i will take you to court. I said ok why? he then proceeded to tell me I misrepresent the ipad because i knew it did not dim, i said no i did not.

anyway my point is, i never said it was new, or in perfect shape i am not real worried, but just looking for thoughts.

This is america, people say "I'm taking you to court" at a factor of 100,000,000 time said to the number of court proceedings.

Someone so dumb to buy a used, partially broken iPad for $330 will not be able to figure how file a lawsuit.

BTW -I'd so hire you as a salesperson. ;)

so no worries then?
in reality, it is very easy to file a suit so I wouldn't be surprised if he did actually sue you.

I doubt you have much of anything to worry about should the guy actually sue you. Nobody can guarantee anything but based on what you said, you shouldn't lose.
