Okay i cleaning my stuff and came upon an instyler i purchased from ebay but never used.

So i figured why not sell i'll get rid of it and make some money.

Turn your trash into cash right.

I bought the instyler for 50 bucks over a year ago on ebay and sold it for 58 dollars shipping and handling included.

Now before anyone goes into saying i shouldnt be selling knock offs or anything like that i didn't sell it with the mind that it was copyright infringment.

I just figured i bought it, its mine and i wanted to sell it so i did.

And know the lawyer that represents instyler reps is sueing me for $797.

I am more than willing to pay the 58 and change the amount that i made for selling the instyler but as far as the 797 thats alot of money.

And as a 18 yr old college i dont have that kind of money to give out.

If i knew this was gonna happen i would of given it away. But what i dont get is people sell authentic stuff that they dont want all the time on ebay.

So i am going contact the law office on monday and explain the situation and maybe they will settle for the $58 most likely they wont what should i do.

I dont have kind of money nor do i have the money to get a lawyer.

Please help me and please i dont need to be chastised. I just need good sound opinion.

I live in NJ being sued in California.

Thanks for all of your help in advance.

Do not give them any records.

When asked, say that you were reselling an item you believe was genuine in good faith. Mention that there will be no other sales of this item.

Then, tell them to take you to court.
