i was recently married in buffalo, new york. My wife has a son and I need her to have sole custody of him so my insurance will cover him. His father has no problem with sole custody. Currently there are no custody papers. What papers do we need the father to sign giving us sole custody. Does he have to go to a lawyer or can he just write that we have sole custody and have the letter notorised.
