What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I have a 6 year old son that lives, eats and does everything with me and my family whom he resides with, his father does not pay me support for my son so all expenses are paid out of my pocket, and so far all decisions have been made by me until now whne his father wishes to be hard, I allow his father to see him on weekends when he takes him home and returns him on Sundays before the school week. My son's wish is to go to Canada for his birthday so he can see snow that he has never seen before and he wishes to spend time with his uncle which he hardly sees and his new born cousin, I spoke with his father about the issue and he is refusing to sign any paper work for my son to enter Canada in December, does his father have the right to refuse to send him and is there some way that I can go around this matter to fulfil my sons wish?

Do you have a passport for your son? If not you need to get one for him and for everyone else in the family. Has paternity been established? Are there any court orders?
