I am planning on leaving my husband for various reasons. I want to file for divorce in the state of Maryland. What do I have to do? He is also military, can we go through military legal assistance?

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

We can't answer such a vague, overbroad and ambiguous question. There are too many twists, turns, and variables - - and each of these twists, turns, and variables depends upon your own particular situation; e.g., property, children, bank accounts, etc., - - none of which you've mentioned.

So, unless you have a specific question about a particular problem with the law, we can't help you other than to say, as I've said so many times before, "Get a book on the subject" or, "See a Family Law attorney".

Thanks for writing.
