What is the name of your state? Arizona

Hi, I recently found out that an old friend of mine took my son's picture off of my website and has used it to say it was her son who was stillborn. She has the father of the baby and his mother to believe that my son was the baby that she had, but died. She never had a baby. I am just curious if there is any legal action that I can take against her or to get her to stop using my photo of my son. Thank you for your help.

That is so twisted for her to do that. Now, this isn't legal advice but one way to get her to stop is to bust her on her lie. Show up at the pseudo grandmother's house with your baby and show them proof that your "old friend" is a liar.

Do you have any idea why she would do something like this? Is she trying to get money from them?

If you suspect the bad people are trying to commit some kind of criminal fraud, tell the cops.

The grandmother is the one who let me know. Well actually.. she emailed the pic to the grandmother and after she realized it was a healthy baby, she called the girls parents who in return contacted me. everyone knows the lie is out but I just wanted to know if there was naything legal that can come out of it and how to get the girl to stop using my photo of my son.

Based on the information you have provided, your case is pretty weak since you have not suffered any actual damages. It might depend on your friend's motivation though. You still haven't said why your friend has done this. As Judgy asked, was she attempting to commit fraud on her ex and his family?

Yes, she did this so that she could get her ex boyfriend back, make him think they actually had a baby and she wanted them to pay for hospital bills.. to get his money basically. She never has a baby and there is no hospital bills.
