What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
My Mother recently inherited a decent amount of money from my deceased grandmother she uses a lot of state assistance like Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. Is there anyway she can gift the inheritance to her children and grandchildren without effecting her current benefits. My deceased grandmothers lawyer is pressuring me to be the trustee for her Special Needs Trust but my mothers only wish is to help out her family. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
