What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CT

Hi. My wife was radared speeding quite fast (71 in a 40.) She didn't realize she was going that fast, but concedes it is possible. She got a mandatory court appearance slip instead of a ticket, with the violation listed as speeding (radar).

What should she expect when she shows up? She's not planning to fight it, and will be apologetic. I'm not so much wondering about the speeding ticket itself, but is it possible that they would/could add a reckless driving charge on top of it, or would that only occur if it was on the original citation/summons? Could her license be in jeopardy? She has a pretty clean record, the only ticket being a failure to yield many (7) years ago, and one warning for accidentally running a stop light about 3 years ago. Thanks.
