Can we hire an attoreny for our foster child to help speed up our county attorney? In April 2000 a judge ordered to go with termination of parental rights, in may of 2000 the social worker handed the order over to the county attorneys office, where it has been sitting ever since. The county attorney's office says its on their desk. Our foster child has been with us for 1 1/2 years and we would like to adopt her.How can we speed up the county attorney's office. 7 months is a long time to file an order.
