What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

So a couple months ago i got a speeding ticket by a cop that was pacing me. He clocked me at 81 mph..I dont know why he would pull me over because i was following traffic the whole time. So im actually going to have my court date to fight it tomorow. Any advice so i can get it dismissed?

Im going to ask the H.P. for the notebook that described what happened that day as proof of him not making anything up.

Then im going to ask for a calibration report.

I was wondering if you guys know a specific cvc that described following the speed of traffic?

Any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

There is nothing in the CVC that authorizes you to speed just because everybody else is. That's not going to mitigate your violation.

The time to seek discovery is BEFORE trial, not the day OF trial!

If tomorrow is not the arraignment and is actually your trial date, you might want to look into how to continue the matter so that you can request discovery (such as the calibration, notes, etc.).
