What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I bought a Russell Hobbs freezer from Tesco about a week ago. I followed all instructions to set up the freezer and then put my food in. The freezer didn't work and as a result my food inside spoiled.
I contacted Tesco but so far have only been offered £20 while the contents of the freezer is worth a few hundred. I told them that offer was unacceptable but they insisted that was the best they could offer.
I have shown both proof of purchase and images of the food.
According to the sources I have read online, I am entitled to be refunded the full amount of the spoiled foods but Tesco have repeatedly insisted this is not the case.
Should I try to pursue this in small claims court?
Any help is appreciated
