What is the name of your state? NY

I am a nurse petitoned by employer hospital for green card. I received my ead in august, petition approved, now in the process of adjusting my status. Been working for the hospital since december 05 but ive been misreable working in my unit at the hospital. Although changing hospital units is an option, I'm just not sure if they will allow me. My other option is to leave my employer altogether. My question is, if I leave, will it affect my adjustment of status? I cant see myself working for another 10 months in the same unit with the same ppl (approx 10 months til i get my GC) Any suggestions?

If your AOS has been pending for at least 180 days, you may be eligible to change employers and still have your green card approved on the basis of the current law as long as the new job is in the same or similar job classification.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or how I can be of further assistance to you in this matter.

If you have already received your green card, then your AOS is not pending any longer and you can leave your employer at any time after getting your green card.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or how I can be of further assistance to you in this matter.
