Illinois Residents. My fiance and I are signing a prenuptial agreement. Due to an accident he will be responsible for high insurance bills and will declare chapter 7 when the case is settled shortly after we are married. What are the implications on my credit? Will the prenuptial protect my assets (property, house, investements, etc)?

I would suggest signing NOTHING until his bk is final. I would suggest also that you postpone your wedding until you have asked these questions to a lawyer in your state.
