I have an OSC for modification of SS to be heard on 5.3.11. Also requesting attorneys fees on 4.24.11 - Stanley Mosk.

On March 2, 2009, spousal support terminated in four months. June 30, 2009, but court retained jurisdication for two years. June 30, 2011. I was pro per, unprepared and they hammered me. I was unemployed when SS was due to terminate in 4 months. Marriage of Schmir?

Another hearing in Nov. 2009, Judge stated at the last part of the hearing, I asked if spousal support could be heard then, judge asked if other counsel would waive notice, naturally he said No. I said Spousal Support is modifiable on a change of circu. etc**************...Judge said, well, yes material change. I re-stated Spousal Support is modifiable based upon a Material Change in Circumstances since prior order. Judge said Yes.

My questions:

1. When courts say "prior order" do they consider all prior orders? Or just the Prior Order. i.e. will they look at order on March 2, 2009 as well as Nov. 2009 Order. Oh, order on March 2, 2009 was Marriage of Richmond. I do have material change in circum. I have RA, possible Gloucoma, on meds., will be for life. Child Support term. by operation of law on 5/31/10. Fam. Code Sec. 4326. Order filed on 12.30.10. I understand Old Law and New Law.

2. I have served Interrogs. on former husband. He respected with all "overburden etc.," I want to serve again. Do I restate everything again, only Second Request #1 etc. Plus, I added legal language below request, stating 2017.010. I am having Voc. Eval. Depo, Med. Reports already Subp. Plus they want me to go to three more of his doctors, and they want me to possible pay for 1/2. Court retaining jurisd. over allocation. I know I need counsel. I want to try and get a continuance late in May.

3. Is there a Code or law that states that**************"if the discovery and proceedings continue so long**************...that the Jurisdication over support, due to stop on 6.30.11, can be extended?

Thank you.
