What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
I remarried in September of 2008. Prior to that two things happened- my wife's property went into foreclosure (before we were married) and I received an inheritance(also before we were married).

My question is simple- if I purchase a piece of property today in my name with my inheritance money can that property somehow be caught up in her foreclosure? Her bank has not as yet discharged the debt or finalized the foreclosure and I am afraid I could lose the new property because of that past debt.
