sprained ankle

i am a custodian working for the queens library. part of my job disciption is moving furniture for program. while preforming my job one morning i slipped on the stairs while bringing down a table and sprained my leg. the time i was out on injury they took my sick leave and part of my up coming vacation. during the change of weather i still experience swelling and pain while walking. should i sue.
