What about dual citizenship? That doesn't require a paper trail between the two countries unless a SSDI claim is opened? No laws are being broken. I wasn't replying to him with that comment. I was talking about the totalization link. Trust me I found all the necessary information from that link.

Why do you believe no laws are being broken?

If this hypothetical person is capable of working a substantial job, why should they receive supplemental $?

epatssd, you may as well get your mind around the fact that international law is not one-size-fits-all and until you provide the country in question, you're not going to get what you want from this forum.

I'm looking for an example from any country at this point in the totalization agreement. That narrows things down. I don't think anyone can find an example. So, I'm just waiting to see if someone has had experience in this situation.

We don't entertain hypotheticals on this forum.

The specific country and the specific facts matter because the international agreements are not the same. Each country has a different way they treat social security and it depends on several factors, including the length of employ and the conditions of employment.

If you are looking for a general discussion, this is NOT the appropriate place to find it. There are other sites on the internet better suited for your wants and needs.

Good luck.

No one is forcing you to respond to this thread. I would prefer you didn't because you have shown you can't answer the questions and are rude. I'm not seeking your help.

I gave you answers as much as they can be given without the information requested of you. You have shown an inability to accept what you have been told and an inability to read what has been provided.

Your thread has been reported for moderator review.

I'm aware of that. That happened awhile ago. The thread couldn't be peaceful which I asked. The same people keep responding that don't know the answer to my question. Your answers are irrelevant. And, you're wasting my time.

You are evidently under the impression that the answer are going to be the same regardless of the country.

You are wrong.

In addition, we don't do hypotheticals.

Please feel free to come back when you have an actual situation that is actually happening to real people, and for whom you will be willing to provide all the relevant facts.

Until then, have a nice night.

In which case, you don't need our answers anyway. Why would you want answers from people who don't know what they're talking about?

G'night, epatssd.

I don't see how several people in this thread didn't intend to disrupt the discussion. Basically, I've waited for someone who has had experience with the questions I asked and was disrupted.

If you keep notifying the moderator to interupt the discussion you're violating the terms of conditions.
