What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland
Hi.
I am currently receiving SSDI.
I own a patent and there is an interested party wanting to purchasing it. The amount is several thousand and here is my question:
what are the limits to a monthly, quarterly, yearly payout to not exceed my elegiblity in SSDI?
Thank you

The title of your question refers to SSI. The body of your question refers to SSDI. The answer would different depending upon which one is correct. It is doubtful that money paid for your patent would be considered earned income as self-employment or wages, but you should ask your accountant.
