What is the name of your state? I live in Ohio. My question is this, I am on SSI Disability and I wanted to know if I can move in with my Ex? I do not want to, but I have no other place to live for now. He is on Disability also. I applied for a senior citizen appartment but I do not see it happening this year. I am too far down on the list. I receive so much from SSI and so much for spousal support which equals out to $623 a month. I have searched the Gov. site and can not find anything about this. I know that if you are married------good bye SSI. We are not married and have not been for 3 years. We would not cohabit as man and wife. I realize that I will have to pay my share of rent and utilities. It would be the same as if I was living with a stranger. Right? I do not want to end up sleeping in a car. What is the name of your state?

Call SSA number up and ask them how your past marital Status would effect cohabitation .

There are many individuals that live on their own with your amount . They just don't have many luxuries .

I live in Ohio. You said there are a lot of people living on their own with the amount of money I receive. That was not my question. There aren't any apartments available. They all have a long waiting list. I posted about living with my ex. $623 a month is not living----it is existing. Thanks anyway.
