Can my creditors garnish my SSI if I file for bankruptcy due to my credit card debt? Its my only income. What about seize my property such as a possible new PC?

Whether or not you are in bankruptcy, your creditors cannot garnish your SSI. If they do garnish your bank account with SSI proceeds, you will have to show the judge that the funds are from SSI and they should be released to you. Under VA law certain amount of your property is exempt and I doubt your computer is so valuable to exceed your exemption.
