What is the name of your state? Iowa

I recieve SSI each month because I have depression, anxiety disorder, PTSD, and bi-polar tendencies. I cannot work because of my anxiety. I have recently recieved ECT. (electro-convulsive therapy) I am doing better and was wanting to start a job, just part time. I was wondering how exactly they calculate what I recieve from work and the disability I recieve each month. Because I know I can only work part time, and don't know yet how I will be able to deal with the stress. Also, I am wanting to get engaged soon, and get married. Will my SSI be taken away if I get married? It's not like just because I get married I no longer have a mental disability. And now a days you can't make it on just your husband's income. I also want to contribute what I can, and be able to be independant if need be.
I would really appreciate some help, but no discrimination. Thank you very much.
