stachybotris bacteria

We recently bought a house and 8mths. later there is the same black stuff on my walls that I washed off before I moved in. I recently saw 48HOURS and this was the topic. I found out what I think is on my walls. There are alot of side effects of having the stachybotris bacteria in your house. My oldest son has asthma and this can make it worse, my husband started getting very bad headaches; he's never sick, not even the flu. I've called the dept. of health; they've never returned my call. I'm actually afraid that they'll condemn my house, then where does my family live. What can I do. Someone has to be responsible for this. Please let me know anything. Thank You, Chris David P.S. Please look at the top, left, corner of this page. It says, "State Laws vary greatly. Include your state in all postings."
A lot of you have "State specific" questions, yet you good folks are not reading, and FAIL to tell us your State. We cannot help you with anything but "general" concepts of law if we don't know your State, and "general concepts" may HURT YOU.
