In VA, I believe that medical debt is considered a written contract and that the Statute of Limitations is 5 years.

I know that the start date for SOL is last activity on the account, which is defined as service or payment. My question is: is payment defined only as MY payment, or does a payment from an insurance company restart the SOL as well?

Thanks!
