I have been seeking a cs increase through the ga state cse office. It has been going on for about 10 months now. They have recommended one, but x is fighting it. Since I first signed up of their services, x has refused to pay their office. He has continued to pay me. That was ok, I guess, because I always got it no later than 2 days after it was due, and I would then turn around and send the check to the state office myself, and then they would send it back to me. That way their office can keep track of x's payments, at least until I finally get to court where it will then be taken from his paycheck. I question is...I still haven't received the cs check for this month. It was due on the first. How long should I wait before I contact my cse agent and inform her of this and ask that they hurry up and set a court date? Also, is there anything I can do to help speed up the process?

Not sure how GA works but here in TX when my ex misses a payment (which he does quite frequently) they insist that I wait till the payment is at least 30 days late before they will do anything then it takes another month or two to set up a hearing date. You may want to call the GA CSEA office to see if maybe the ex had a change of mind and sent the CS payment through their office, or if he has had a wage garnishment that his employer is now taking the payment out of his pay and sending to the CSEA offices.
