i am in Colorado. via e-mail i made an agreement with a fellow in new york for him to purchase 3 pieces of my equipment. the agreement was that i would ship 2 of the 3 pieces via truckline (freight collect and c.o.d. payment in full to me). he would then, later make arrangements to pick up the third piece of equipment.

i shipped the two pieces as agreed and collected my check. unfortunatly, the fellow in new york stopped payment on the check.

2 months later we still remain in contact via e-mail. i also believe we have come to irroconcievable differiences. He refuses to return my equipment.

i would like to settle this matter as we originally agreed or for him to purchase the 2 items he currently has or return the 2 items to me.

i need help on how to settle this matter, via lawyer, collection agency, ...?
