I live in AZ and I'm the father of a 17 year old girl. I have reason to believe that she and her 20 year old boyfriend have recently engaged in sexual activities. I do not approve of this, nor do I approve of him. Trying to deal with the matter directly has not been affective and she turns 18 in 9 days. I'd just like to know what the AZ law states, what my options are, what needs to be done, who can I consult with and is there any statue of limitations associated with this crime? Thank you.

What do you want to do. Do you want to press charges against him. If so you might be just pushing your daughter more away from being in a relationship with you.

There really nothing you can do, she would have to testfy against her boyfriend that they had sex. There would be no other way of having a criminal offense to her boyfriend. And by the time this hits the court she's going to be 18.

Put your daughter on birth control. You can get it cheap through Planned Parenthood.

there are a number of issues you didn't mention. it would be improper for me to ask. see if you can find an attourney in your town who will give you a free 15 minute consult free . going by what i see here, what will be, will be, and in 9 days it will be legal
