What is the law regarding someone taken out a life policy on someone,but bringing another person to insurance office fasley stating that they are the person receiving the insurance and signing the policy as if they were that person. What is the statue of limaitation on this?

Most policies have a 2 year contestable period. If fraud is involved, I am not sure there is any time limit.

The person that the name was forged on the life policy dead 4 mos. later and the couple that came in made themselves the bene. Collected $30,000.00.
This happened in 2002.
