What is the name of your state? Illinois, I have no prior record and have recently found out that Illinois has a warrant ot for me for writting bad checks second offense, which stems back fromm 1998, is there a time limit in illinois for this to go away, or do i need to go to illinois and face the problem

The answer: surrender.

There is no SOL on warrants they stay active forever. You need to surrender in Illinois.
