What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? colorado

Unknow to me my Mother put her house in my name, she felt it was a fair division of her property. I know that when my Sister finds out, she will try to contest the change. The change was made three years ago, what is the statue of limitations on this?

I'm not sure how it was done without you knowing about it. Do you know that there are significant tax issues for both of you as well as medicaid eligibility issues for her. Do you know you are now 100% liable for the property taxes on this property?

On what grounds can your sister contest. If your mother was sane she's free to give away her property as she sees fit. There's no need to be "fair" to the greedy offspring.
