I purchacse a T.V. in july of 1990 & lost my jog & was
unable to the the balance, the store i got the T.V. from
went out of business some years ago & just this past friday
I received a notice from a collection agency. The notice
has my first name, the wrong last name & the wrong balance.
I still have a copy of the purchase slip showing what the balance was when I purchased the T.V. but it's actually less because I did make some payments. If I find out that
this is my bill from 1990 even though they have the wrong name & amount what is the statute of limitation in illinois.
