WHen applying for a job in NC how far back do they check for felony records? ANyone out there got an answer

Yes, I have one. But it's not the answer you want to hear.

There is no one size fits all answer to your question. Each employer goes back as far as that particular employer wants to go back.

I believe the question I most commonly see on applications is "have you EVER been convicted, blah blah blah." If they ask ever, it means they can check however far back they want.
