What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

According to information that I found on the Internet, the statute of limitations for debt collection in Texas is 4 years. This applies to oral contracts, writtent contracts, promissory notes, and revolving accounts. Does the 4 year statute of limitations also apply to money owed to a commodity broker?

Thanks,

It would apply to a debt owed to a commodities broker, too. A debt is a debt regardless of who or what it is owed to. In your situation, the only time it would be different is if there was a special law in place that changes the statute of limitations for certain classes of people. But there are no such laws for commodity brokers in Texas.
