What is the name of your state? Kansas

I lost a civil case and did not appeal. Even though I already paid the damages, can I file an appeal still? The journal entry was filed in Aug 04.

You are probably wondering what bonehead would want to do that? Well me, I found a document "Pattern Instructions for Jury's" that the opposing attorney submitted but the document "Instructions" were signifantly altered to benefit his clients.

The judge, nor my attorney, verified the document, my attorney objected, but was overrulled by the judge.

Can attorney's alter jury instructions to benefit their case?

Nope. Kansas law provides that a notice of appeal be filed within 30 days after the date on which the entry of judgment is filed.

Yep. Jury instructions are reviewed by attorneys and then reviewed and ruled on by the court prior to being given to the jury.
