What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? massachusetts

what is the statute of limitations of breaking and entering? juvenile went into a home that appeared to be abandoned but someone owns the home but doesn't live there, just used for storage. the juvenile was directed to a "diversion program" where he is ordered to attend counselilng and stay out of trouble. can criminal charges still be brought?

Criminal charges were filed if the kid is in a diversion program, they are just on hold till the kid completes the program. If he does not complete the program, the charges will be submitted to a court for prosecution. There are no statutes of limitations for this.
