statute of limitations on sexual abuse

i'm from florida. i was sexually abused by my stepfather a few years ago. i was just wondering if anything can be done to him in terms of jail time even though it has been at least five years since he had really done anything. i live in florida.

Well, there are lots of things you can do. I am glad to hear you recognize your abuse. In addition to legal help, I know many who have benefited from counseling to aid in recovery.
